The Story Behind
Crafted Canine
With over 15 years of experience training elite police and working dogs, Zach Fedora brings a rare level of precision, professionalism, and results to every training program.
Zach’s journey started in a small farming community on Canada’s East Coast, where his natural connection with animals was clear from the beginning — working on farms, at a local zoo, and training his family’s sled dogs. That bond eventually led him into law enforcement, where he became a full-time police canine handler in 2016 and was promoted to head trainer by 2021.
In that role, Zach was responsible for the selection, development, and performance of multiple K9 teams — from obedience to detection to aggression management. He earned a Top 3 finish at the National Police Canine Trials and holds national certification as a detection and patrol dog trainer through the Canadian Police Canine Association.
Over the years, Zach has trained under world-class instructors across North America. He combines proven, field-tested techniques with modern, balanced, reward-based methods — designed to build calm, capable dogs and confident, in-control owners.
Today, through Crafted Canine, Zach offers that same level of expertise to clients who expect more than just “basic obedience.” His programs are structured, personalized, and built to deliver meaningful, lasting results.
